The current suit against Harvard is really important — a few of my American cousins were possibly ‘wronged’ by this in the 2000's. They had near perfect SATs and the regular slew of extra curricular activities but they ‘only’ made it to UPenn and Dartmouth. I think having it written into law is a much better way of going about it.
