- Regional chauvinism in any multi-cultural city is a sad sight — because they shouldn’t be the centres lending the state their legitimacy. Mumbai, Bengaluru, New York or London don’t represent the states/countries they reside in. Cities like Pune and Mysuru are much more representative of that.
